WARRANTY POLICY
IMPORTANT NOTICE
SHIPPING COSTS, LABOR COSTS, DIAGNOSTIC FEES, TOWING FEES, RENTAL FEES, STORAGE FEES, AND ANY OTHER RELATED EXPENSES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
By purchasing from RedlineJDM, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policies listed below.
WARRANTY OFFERED BY REDLINEJDM

Used Replacement Engines – 60 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)

Used Performance Engines Including Turbo, VTEC, i-VTEC, VVT, VVTi, and GTE Models – 30 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)
-
Rotary Engines (Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8, 13B, 13BT/13BTT, 20B) – NO WARRANTY
-
Used Performance Transmissions – 30 Day Warranty
-
Used Replacement Transmissions – 60 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)

Parts Sold As-Is
Any turbocharged and/or performance units are for California off-road use only.
WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
Warranty is VOID if the engine or transmission is modified from its original OEM factory condition. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Turbos
-
Superchargers
-
Tunes
-
Nitrous
-
Any other power adders
Removing the cylinder head(s) from the engine block or splitting/opening the transmission case will VOID the warranty.
RedlineJDM reserves the right to deny warranty claims caused by:

Improper installation
-
Mechanic error
-
Overheating
-
Low fluid conditions
-
Lack of maintenance
-
Racing
-
Abuse
-
Detonation
-
Tuning
-
Customer negligence
Professional installation by a certified mechanic is strongly recommended. Failure to install the engine or transmission through a certified mechanic may VOID the warranty at RedlineJDM’s discretion.
RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY
RedlineJDM is NOT responsible for:
All warranty claims, exchanges, or refunds REQUIRE the engine/transmission to be returned to RedlineJDM for inspection and verification before any resolution is approved.
Customers may NOT keep the engine/transmission and receive:

A refund
-
A replacement
-
A chargeback
-
Any reimbursement
RedlineJDM reserves the right to determine the final resolution of any claim, including:
All returned engines/transmissions must be complete with no parts missing. Missing components may be deducted from replacement units or refunds.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON DEPOSITS
Deposits on engines, transmissions, and parts will hold the item for 30 days.
After 30 days, RedlineJDM may release the item if no further payments have been made.
The full balance must be paid within 30 days from the deposit date.
NO refunds will be issued after the 30-day period.
The buyer must pick up the item or arrange shipping within 25 days after the full balance has been paid.
ITEMS COVERED UNDER LIMITED WARRANTY
The warranty covers INTERNAL engine components only, including:

Pistons

Piston Rings
-
Piston Pins
-
Crankshaft and Main Bearings

Connecting Rods and Rod Bearings

Camshaft and Camshaft Bearings

Timing Chain and Timing Gears
-
Intake and Exhaust Valves
-
Valve Springs, Seals, and Guides
-
Oil Pump
-
Push Rods
-
Rocker Arms and Shafts
The engine block, cylinder walls, and cylinder head are warrantied to be free from deep cracks or distortions that would prevent the engine from operating under the manufacturer’s intended use.
RedlineJDM reserves the right to service, repair, rebuild, or exchange components at its sole discretion prior to sale if deemed necessary.
ITEMS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
Warranty does NOT cover external accessories or attached components including but not limited to:
Used engines and transmissions should be inspected and monitored carefully during the first 50–100 miles after installation.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT CLAIM PROCEDURE
In the unlikely event of a defective engine, cylinder head, engine block, or transmission, the following must be provided to RedlineJDM:

A detailed written report from a Certified Mechanic

Clear pictures and videos of the defective part

A copy of the mechanic’s certification/license
-
The mechanic’s contact information
RedlineJDM reserves the right to contact and verify all mechanic information and documentation provided.
The certified mechanic submitting the claim may not be the same individual who purchased the engine or transmission.
All required documents must be emailed to:

Once the required paperwork is reviewed, RedlineJDM will determine the appropriate resolution.
